PORTUGUESE YOUTH - MOCIDADE PORTUGUESA (1936/1974)
The MOCIDADE PORTUGUESA series was developed by request of a private collector.
The Portuguese youth marching figures,are being a great success in Portugal,as collecting is picking up as a hobby.
The figures are about 6,3cm (2,5 inches) tall some are smaller as some represent young boys so 1/30 in scale.
The paint shades/colors are very accurate,plus light shading is applied to achieve depth and life like aspect,both on their uniforms and equipment but also, and more importantly to the faces(eyes,eyebrows,mouths,etc.) which do differ from one soldier to another as these are all hand painted.
It is really possible to have several men marching side by side,on parade mode and still have the singular feel of each individual figure.
